Types of HPMC for Detergent

Key Features of Home Cares Grade HPMC PM-Pro-75US

Solubility

Solubility

For the home cares usage, the HPMC has been surface treated to make sure it could be dissolved quickly and completely in the water without clumping. This high solubility allows easy incorporation into detergent formulations, improving production efficiency and ensuring a smooth, uniform texture.

Suspensibility

Suspensibility

This surface treated HPMC enhances suspensibility in detergents by keeping solid particles evenly dispersed, preventing sedimentation or separation during storage. This ensures consistent product quality and uniform cleaning power, allowing active ingredients such as enzymes, abrasives, or fragrance capsules to remain stable and effective throughout the product’s entire shelf life.

Transparency

Transparency

This surface treated HPMC provides excellent transparency in liquid detergents, ensuring the formulation remains clear and visually appealing without haze.

Thickening Property

Thickening Property

This property ensures the final home care products feel rich, stable, and easy to handle. By enabling controlled rheology, it improves spreadability, dosing accuracy, and the perception of quality, aligning with premium home care market expectations.

Dispersivity

Dispersivity

The surface treated HPMC improves dispersivity in detergent formulations, enabling uniform distribution of surfactants, active agents, and fragrance components. This ensures stable blends without phase separation, enhancing cleaning effectiveness. Its excellent dispersing ability contributes to consistent product performance, improved shelf stability, and easier production handling across a wide range of detergent systems.

Water Retention

Water Retention

The HPMC maintains superior water retention in detergent systems, preventing premature drying or evaporation. This will improve the cleaning efficiency, stabilizes formulations, and supports long-lasting performance during use.

1.  The surface treated HPMC PM-Pro-75US Dosage

Adjust dosage carefully. A small change can significantly impact detergent flow, texture, and overall consumer perception. The recommended dosage of this product is 3-10‰ of the system, and the dosage needs to be determined by experiment.

2. Suspension Stability

Mix under constant stirring to suspend particles effectively, preventing sedimentation and ensuring long-term storage stability.

3. Bulk Order Package

25kg/Bag. Reseal promptly after use. Avoid high heat and pressure, as HPMC is thermoplastic and will cause agglomeration. Store sealed in a cool, dry place (0-40°C). Max 24 months storage.
